Questions about our Simulators & Training Programs
Q. Who is eligible to take simulation driver training?
A. Simulation driver training is suitable for all novice, public safety and licenced persons who are looking to develop and refine their driving skills.
Q. Can I sign up for training if I am in the middle of getting my license?
A. The course can be initiated at any time. Our emphasis is on increasing decision making skills with in-class, in-vehicle and intensive virtual reality simulation, in a multitude of traffic and environmental conditions. This course holds considerable value to the licenced as well as the novice driver.
Q. How does this training differ from traditional classroom training?
A. Our training exceeds all Department of Public Safety requirements for driver training. Our virtual reality simulators are the cornerstone of our solution. They provide the trainee with numerous on road experiences.
Q. What is so special about this simulator? How can a machine teach me to be a better driver and possibly save my life?
A. We teach people how to recognize driving hazards and how to respond to them. You will learn how to apply skills in a risk-free environment before going out "live" into the real driving world. It does not replace any incar training.
Q. Is there an instructor in /near the simulator with the participant?
A. Yes, our experienced driving and simulation instructors are right there to coach and provide you with pointers you'll need to guide you through the simulation training.
Q. What is a typical session day look like?
A. The in class portion is a dynamic combination of in class lecture, quizzes using our interactive CPS (classroom performance system) units and hands on driving experience in our simulator. The program uses a blended learning approach plus being highly interactive it is the best environment for learning retention creating the safest drivers on the road ways today.

Q. What is the average length of time it takes to complete the full program?
A. The average completion time for the majority of lessons is approximately 2-3 months. The Department of Motor Vehicles requires that new drivers must have a permit for a minimum of eight months, before the Drivers Test is permitted. Students need the knowledge at the start of the eight months, so that they can practice safely until they are eligible for a drivers test. The remainder of the course is completed just prior to the Drivers Examination at DMV. For those with older permits, we can fast track training for students demonstrating good skill development.
Q. How do I book my Drivers Test?
A. Your Drivers Test is included in your Driver Training Course, once the instructor assesses the student as ready for testing. We will also schedule the examination with DMV. If a second test is required, there are two options:
1. You can use our training vehicle, and we would be happy to arrange the road test on your behalf. Please contact us at 506-458-9101. We offer both road test review lessons and full road test packages through our online store.
2. If you are planning to retest on your own, using another vehicle, please call the Driver Examiners Office at 506-453-2836 to schedule a time. Remember to take your Provincial Certificate (the green one) when you go.
